Wild Edible and medicinal Plants
We have selected plants that meet the criteria of being abundant in the woods, having good nutritional value and not easily mistaken for other deadly plants such as hemlock.
There are thousands of plants that you could spend an entire lifetime trying to master when all you really need to do is become very proficient with a small number of abundant nutritional plants to obtain required vitamins, minerals and proteins in a survival situation.
When teaching this subject we use repetition to drill these plants into your memory. We would rather have you leave here as an expert on twenty plants rather then totally confused regarding a 100 plants. The food and medicinal sources that we will address in detail are as follows:
