Those individuals who register for this expedition will receive a full itinerary and list of required equipment upon receipt of their application.  Our destination will be the Kluane National Park & Reserve  

 

Pictured here is a grizzly bear trackYUKON - GRIZLY BEAR TRACK.jpg (21828 bytes).  The Yukon is home to many bears to it is important to make noise when traveling through bear country so as not to surprise them.  It is equally important not to carry food with strong odors such as bacon or sardines.  We will issue a detailed list of precautions to those attending the expedition.

 

YUKON2.jpg (16965 bytes)Stream crossing can be very dangerous as the water gets deeper and more rapid.  Their are some very specific procedures that we will impart to students when making any type of stream crossing..
